The Best Highlighters Ever!!

There is a tone of makeup in this world that is a given. With a lot of makeup comes a lot of different highlighters e.g cream highlighters, powders, msg by MAC, cheap ones and dear ones, you get what I'm what I mean:) but personally I can easily narrow my choice down to just TWO of the best ones available in my opinion anyways :) I'll start with the cheaper end of things... My first DRUGSTORE choice would have to be Seventeen Skin Wow Primer 3 Way Highlighter, yeah thats a handful.

Basically what it says on the bottle it does!! Glow and Prime. This highlighter is perfect for everywhere on the face where you want your features to be more prominent. I personally think it works best on me on my cupids bow with a red lip it is the most perfect combo! and you would never believe this little baby is on £5.99!!!! YES that is correct how bloody cheap! Honestly a tiny little pump of this would go a long way. Its worth the 6 quid.

And yes you guessed it my next all time fav highlighter has to be a dearer one but worth it the MAC Soft an Gentle Highlighter. This product is raved about for a reason. Im not gonna lie I literally just bought this 3 weeks ago and have used it every day since. It adds the most perfect glow ever and so worth the money which is gone up £1 in the last month, darn you MAC! I think the only reason there products go up in price like every month is because they always come out with new packaging, I actually preferred the old packaging but hey ho I'm not complaining the new one is still very sleek and gorgeous!

Yeah told you it was like basically the all time best highlighter in the world! I suggest wearing this with a smokey neutral eye! it looks beautiful that way :)

Forever Nude

Hello Everyone!

This morning I woke up to a lovely gift through the post which was my Bh Cosmetics: Forever Nude Palette. I can't actually believe how excited I'm getting over a makeup palette but honestly it is perfect and has everything in one palette. It contains 6 beautiful eye shadow colours a mix of satin finishes, 2 blushes one of them is a pinky blush with a slight shine and the other blush is a bronzy colour and if you mix them together they create the most perfect natural cheek colour. It also contains two lip colours which I was extremely surprised about because they are both PERFECT!! honestly the lip colours are so much better than expected. They have a very creamy texture and just glide on the lips. Also the palette contains a large highlighter, so basically its your whole makeup bag in one minus the foundation :)

 Just look at that packaging! Cute or what :) It is so simple yet elegant it really caught my eye.
Also for all you glamour ladies out there, BH do a similar type of pallet called the Forever Glam (I think).

 The big mirror that comes with the palette is a bonus I mean it is so convenient!! I cannot wait to take this on journeys were I'll be travelling a lot!

Bh Cosmetics really brought their A game on this one! Really happy with this and couldn't recommend it enough.

6 products I couldn't live without tag

1) Espresso Eyeshadow by Mac, it is the best powder available for your eyebrows and also for a transition shade through the crease of your lid it is definitely once of my holy grails and and everyday basis product for me!!

2) TRESemme Heat Protecting Spray has obviously got to be my second choice as it use it every time I wash my hair and it does wonders for me. Best heat protecting spray I've ever used and trust me I've used a lot.

3) Barry M lipgloss in Toffee is my favourite ever lipgloss as it creates the most perfect lip if you apply a light dusty pink lipstick underneath or a nude as it glides over very seamlessly and makes my lips look pluppy and pouty which I just have to love.

4) Rimmel Stay Matte Powder aka best face product ever created for people with oily skin. It is so cheap and cheerful and amazing and works magically. it is honestly the best powder in the entire world. I think I would be screwed if rimmel discontinued it.

5) Biorè face cleanser is my everyday cleanser that does the job quick and easy and it only costs £2.49 from TJ Hughes a girl cannot complain. I am so sure that this stuff is the thing that makes me have spot free skin it cleanses everything and unclog pores and makes my skin feel like a baby's butt after.

6) This one was hard because I have so many products I couldn't live without but I would have to say my Gel Eyeliner by Maybelline which is a pot of gold to me. I use it basically for my everyday look as it do love a black cat flick and I tend to go very natural and matte on my eyelids and intensify it with my liner. Black liner is a must!!!!

The Furry Friend Tag

1) What is your pet’s name?
- Messi (and yes we named him after a footballer please don't judge my Dad is a footy maniac.)

2) What kind of pet is it and what breed?
-He is a dog and the breed of dog is a Shih Tzu

3) How long have you had your pet friend?
-Since the end of November 2013, so not long if you think about it.

4) How did you get your pet?
-Was a well awaited gift that I was promised by my Dad when me and my brothers and sister were little but he was always to busy to take care of it and we were little so we couldn't really take proper care of it ourselves.

5) How old is your pet?
- Messi will be 8 months old at the end of April so still a little pup.

6) What are some quirky things about your pet’s personality?
- He will never stop staring at you when you're eating. He likes chasing after runners in the street. He ripped 3 pairs of my mum's slippers. He hates puddles/rain/water on his fur altogether (he thinks he's a posh little dog)

7) What does your relationship with your pet mean to you?
- A lot. The quote "a dog is a man's best friend" is very true. He is definelty my bestfriend even though I'm not a man... If me, my mum, my brothers and sister were to come in the front door together he would walk right past them and run to me. We share a connection you know.

8) What are some of your favorite past times with your pet?
- When he ran out the house down the street and stood in front of the ice cream van. Yes yes he did do this. He is a very greedy dog can't you tell already.

9) What are the nicknames that you call your pet? 
- My mum calls him some weird stuff. She totally manipulated his name and turns it into something weird like Messuuu Or Mesah. But a lot of people call him Lionel or Leo because the footballer that we named him after first name is Lionel.

Naked Palette Review.

Hello Everyone!

So not that long ago, probably mid November time I went shopping with my brother and I remember it was exactly the day before I seen the Arctic Monkeys.

We went to Silverburn which is in Glasgow and has all the fancy/posh shops... totally not my style but we went at like 8pm so it was the only centre still open.

Silverburn has a massive debenhams in it and everyone knows what was in debenhams... an Urban Decay stand. My brother took 2 hours in at least each shop not even kidding, so I started to annoy him and beg him that if I'm suffering with you whilst doing this shopping you should buy me something he replied "do you want a smoothie?" I was like "hella NO" so I begged him to buy me the Naked 1 palette!!! I know at Christmas time the Naked 3 was going to come out but I don't know something attracted me to the first one. I think its because the sparkly golden colour called Half Baked which is the most beautiful eyeshadow colour I have ever seen, and in general the matte brown and light coloured neutrals that would suit a brown eye gal like me perfectly.

The Naked 1 palette  is probably the most luxurious makeup product that I own well because I don't get a lot of £'s since I'm only 17 LOL.

The palette itself is so beautiful and full of perfect colours that would suit an everyday look.

It is by most my favourite palette that I have EVER owned. All the shades create a look that is seamless and looks effortless if blended well on the lids. My favourite look to use with the palette is a black smokey eye with the lid covered in the colour 'Half Baked' and in the crease of the eye the colour 'Creep' which sounds weird but it is a perfect black with silver glitters. 

Not only is this palette absolutely stunning, but it comes with a shader brush which is perfect for packing on shadow on the lid, also the palette comes with a miniature weeks worth of primer potion which is an amazing primer. 

If you feel like you wanna spend money on something but have no idea what to buy the Naked 1 palette is a no brainer!! It is a must in my collection and it would be a brilliant gift idea for Mother's Day and it is perfect for me.

Introduction | About Me

Hello My Lovelies!

Being my first ever blog post to the "blogging world" as some would call it, I thought it would be a simple yet interesting one. Well I hope you find it interesting.

The best way for people to get to know me is if I tell you guys a bit about myself.

Firstly my name is Meru Khan, it's a strange one I know please don't judge. I turned 17 Years Old on the 2nd of January hence where the '0102' came from even though the month is before the date...
I am born and raised in beautiful Glasgow, Scotland. I think by my ethnic origin I am half Pakistani as my Mum is from Pakistan and half Scottish as my Dad is from Scotland. I won't get into it too much as I know I probably would just bore you all to death. I'am still in School, I'm in my last year, which is definitely been the best so far, yet the thought of leaving school frightens me and makes me feel very anxious, as school has always been a safe place. The thought of leaving there and going to college or whatever route I take makes me actually really terrified inside.

Anyways, I made this blog to express how I feel about beauty, fashion and everything else in-between. But I know probably there will only be at least 2 people that are going to read this...
